Strong enough for everyday fastening — remote controls, lightweight frames, cable management and small displays. The adhesive on the backing is good once the surface is clean and dry before applying it.
On most smooth, painted surfaces, they come off clean. Just peel at a low angle slowly, and you won't have an issue.
The two items need to be ordered together because they are sold as separate products. The fastener needs both components to function properly because it does not work with just one part.
The hook and loop mechanism itself handles repeated use without a problem. The adhesive on the backside is for one-time application only. After the product is removed, the bond will not occur in the future.
Available sizes are 16mm and 22mm. A 22mm size is recommended if one needs a slightly better fastening or a slightly greater contact area.
